Lake-Cook Audubon in Northeast Illinois
A Chapter of the Illinois Audubon Society

The Lake-Cook Audubon Chapter is an all-volunteer organization run by busy people just like you. We sponsor regular bird walk field trips to identify native and migratory birds and conduct informative programs regarding threatened & endangered animals and their environment.  As a Chapter of the Illinois Audubon Society we also influence Illinois land acquisition and management programs.  Additionally, we work with other bird and environmental organizations in pursuit of our and their mission.

We welcome your involvement at any level and look forward to seeing you on our bird walk field trips and educational programs.  Yet, we welcome and truly need your help to continue to operate our Chapter and bring great value to our members. With many people involved, the actual work and time commitment can be as little or much as your schedule and interest permit. We invite you to step forward and help us out.

Following is a list of those who have  taken a leadership role for our 2024 – 2025 season and their responsibilities. Email addresses have been removed due to spam issues. Please use our contact form to reach us.
